Seattle School District Boundary

                     Addendum

 

 

 

  1. Any player attending a high school within the boundary of the City of Seattle* that offers lacrosse shall play lacrosse for that school.

 

  1. Any player attending a high school within the boundary of the City of Seattle that does not offer lacrosse shall play for the team that that high school has been assigned to. See Below.

 

  1.  If a player lives in the City of Seattle and attends a private school outside of the City of Seattle boundary the WHSBLA Board will determine the appropriate team.

 

  1. The guidelines affect incoming freshmen (class of 2009) or any player that is new to a program (not on a 2005 or earlier roster). Current players approved by the WHSBLA Board to play for a school because their school does not offer lacrosse will not be affected.

 

  1. Any new team that forms within the boundary of the City of Seattle will abide by current new program WHSBLA guidelines.

 

  1. If any coach has a concern about the eligibility of a player he should consult the WHSBLA Board immediately.

 

*City of Seattle Boundary – 145th N and NE, Seola Beach Dr SW to 31st Ave SW to SW

Roxbury. S Juniper St to 59th SW to S 112th to Renton Ave to S 116th to Cornell Ave S.

 

Blanchet – only those attending Blanchet

Franklin – those attending Franklin, Rainier Beach, Cleveland, West Seattle, Chief Sealth,

                Academy NW, Christian Faith, Seattle Lutheran, South Lake.

Garfield – those attending Garfield, Bush, SAAS, NWS, O’Dea, Center School, NOVA.

Lakeside – only those attending Lakeside.

Nathan Hale – those attending Nathan Hale, Ingraham, University Prep, Middle College,

            Summit K-12.

Roosevelt – those attending Roosevelt, Ballard, Hazel Wolf, John Marshall.

Seattle Prep – only those attending Seattle Prep.

Lynnwood – Shorewood, Shorecrest  and the Edmonds School District

Mt. Rainier – Kennedy and the Highline, Renton, Federal Way and South Central School

                       Districts
